I grew up in rural Queensland with a rather happy and fun childhood, and moved to
Brisbane in the 1990’s. I am a husband and a dad and a photographer. I love to
spend time with my family and especially love watching my children grow up into real
little people. I love photography and people - so I choose to photograph weddings
and portraits for ‘work’, people and scenes for fun, my family for the memories,
and travel destinations when I can get away (wish it was more often!).
I’ve been shooting weddings since 1988 and have earnt more than 100 National and
International awards since then. I was awarded the AIPP National Travel Photographer
of the Year in 2010. I have also been named AIPP Queensland Wedding Photographer
of the Year and AIPP Queensland Landscape Photographer of the Year.
Since early 2011, my wife Sandra has been working with me as well. She decided she
liked my lifestyle better than her 9-to-5 job, though I secretly think she just wanted
to make sure I was spending my days working!!
